Sharon Allred

1952 ~ 2015

Sharon Constance Allred, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away September 4, 2015 at the age of 63 years.

Born in Calgary, Alberta to Ralph Langell and Constance Morison, Sharon was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her interests included art, traveling, nature, and family history. Sharon had a love of learning and accomplished her Bachelors of Education with a specialty in Early Childhood from the University of Calgary and her Masters of Education from the University of Lethbridge. Sharon moved from Calgary to Raymond where she spent many happy years raising her family. She loved teaching, having taught kindergarten, preschool, special education, and ESL classes. Her latest work involved the Schizophrenia society and the Southern Alberta Community Living Association for disabled adults. Sharon will be remembered for her kindness and generosity to everyone. Her thoughtful and compassionate friendship will be missed.

Sharon was predeceased by her father and mother. She will be missed by her children, Jason Allred, Rebecka (Jaron) Brunson, Genevieve (Mckay) Steed, Cassandra (Jarom) Stevenson, and Dustin Allred; her eleven grandchildren; her brother Stephen (Jeannette) Langell; and numerous other family members.

A Viewing will be held at 10:30AM on Wednesday, September 9, 2015, at THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER DAY SAINTS, 2213 6A Ave North, Lethbridge, Alberta, followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow in the Temple Hill Cemetery in Raymond, Alberta.
