Robin Biddlecombe

Mr. Robin Biddlecombe of Lethbridge passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at the age of 80 years.

Robin was born September 18, 1941 in Eynsham, England to parents William and Eva Biddlecombe. He attended the Country Grammar School Harrow Weald and continued on to the Institution of Civil Engineers in London. He was employed with the Borough of Warwick. In 1966 he immigrated to Canada where he resided in Calgary for several years before traveling throughout Central and Southern Alberta working as a contractor. He finally settled in Lethbridge, working in the food service industry and then finishing his working career at Pet Parade pet store. He had a true passion for animals and nature, especially fish and birds. He was an avid fisherman, spending as much time as he could out fishing which was what he truly enjoyed.

Besides his loving common law wife, Gladys Anderson, Robin is survived by his son Robin Jr; stepdaughters Debbie, Arlene, Marilyn, and Nina; stepsons Leo, Joe, Eric and Ron; 18 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; sister Beryl Cresswell in England.

He was predeceased by parents William and Eva Biddlecombe; brothers Derek and Barry & stepdaughters Darlene and Lorraine.

Robin will be privately remembered by his family and friends.
