Robert Rowe

MR. ROBERT (BOB) ALEXANDER ROWE of Lethbridge passed away peacefully, at the St. Michaels Palliative Care on Thursday, September 4, 2008 at the age of 65 years.

Bob is survived by his 4 children- Alexa Rowe of Toronto, Pamela Rowe of Vancouver, Lucas Rowe and Sabrina Rowe of Montreal. He is also survived by three brothers Gordon, Douglas and Kenneth Rowe. Bob was predeceased by his brother Alan Rowe and Rosemary MacArthur, the mother of their children. He will be greatly missed.

Bob was a teller of stories and histories, a natural singer, songwriter and musician who paid tribute to the heart of every story he engaged with and shared the truth of it with those around him. He was a great teacher to his children, and a poet in his own right. Favorite things included good coffee, making music around a kitchen table or a campfire, good conversation and meeting new people. Until recently, Bob was a regular member of the Lethbridge Folk Club, where he performed more than once with his children. He will be greatly missed.

A private family interment will be held at a later date.
