Robert McMurren

Mr. Robert McMurren of Lethbridge, beloved husband of the late Mrs. Beatrice McMurren, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at the age of 96 years.

After serving in the army from 1939 to 1945, he married Beatrice Bourassa in December 1945. His working career was spent as a truck driver. He loved gardening, camping, walking and cooking. He enjoyed 68 years of marriage till Bea’s passing in 2013. His last years were spent at the Heritage Lodge where he made many friends and enjoyed his time spent there.

Robert is survived by his children Mel McMurren, Jan Cook, Marion McMurren, Karen Zimmerman, John (Lindsay) McMurren; daughter in law Delores McMurren; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Robert was predeceased by his wife Beatrice; sons Harry and Roy McMurren; parents Goldie Kesler and Harry McMurren; sister Addie Perdue and brother Stan McMurren.

A Graveside Service for the family will be held at a later date.
