Renee McTighe

RENEE LYNN McTIGHE - It is with great sadness that our family announces the sudden passing of our beloved daughter, sister and mother on Sunday, December 7, 2008 at the age of 39 years.

Renee leaves to mourn her two children Douglas and Stephen; their dad, Jason Turnbull; mother, Jo-Ann McTighe; sister Shannon (Myron) Stolte and their children Ashley and Taylor; father Bill McTighe; all of Lethbridge, as well as a very large extended family and a great number of good friends.

She was predeceased by her grandparents Rose and George Todd, and Ruth and Louis McTighe.

Renee was born May 7, 1969 in Lethbridge, Alberta. After finishing high school, Renee worked several years for 7-Eleven before moving on to raise her boys. Renee went on to teach computer courses at the Academy of Learning, worked IT for a trucking company before finding her calling as a Personal Care Attendant with Greystoke Homes. Renee took great pride in providing the support and assistance to others.

She loved listening to music, reading, playing on the computer, cheering for the Montreal Canadians in hockey season, shopping and taking trips with the boys when she could, especially to Surveyors Lake. She will be dearly missed by her sons, her family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00pm, on Friday, December 12, 2008, at MARTIN BROS. FUNERAL CHAPELS, 610 - 4 St., S., Lethbridge, AB.

A reception will be held at the RIVER OF LIFE COMMUNITY CHURCH, 2820 - 18 Ave., N., Lethbridge, AB, following the memorial service.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of one's choice.
