It is with great sorrow, but in the Lord's time, we announce the passing of our father Reindert “Rein” Bakker, beloved husband of the late Jacomina Bakker, at the age of 88 years.
Rein is survived by his daughters Gretha (Dirk) Bakker-Bakker and Rita van den Berg; sons Gerrit (Wendy) Bakker, Evert Bakker and Henry (Arlene) Bakker; 17 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Besides his loving wife Jacomina Bakker, Rein is predeceased by his parents Gerrit and Maria Bakker.
He is also survived by family in The Netherlands.
An opportunity to extend Condolences will be held from 7:00pm to 8:00pm on Monday, September 9, 2019 at THE NETHERLANDS REFORMED CONGREGATION OF LETHBRIDGE, 90022 Range Rd 211, Lethbridge, Alberta.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00am, on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at THE NETHERLANDS REFORMED CONGREGATION OF LETHBRIDGE, 90022 Range Rd 211, Lethbridge, Alberta, with Reverend E.C. Adams, officiating.
