Raymond Findlay

MR. RAYMOND FINDLAY of Lethbridge beloved husband of Mrs. Mildred Findlay passed away on Friday, February 24, 2012 at the Edith Cavell Health Centre at the age of 86 years.

Raymond was born in Lethbridge, Alberta on December 24, 1925. He joined the Canadian Army at age 18 and was proud of his service in Canada, United Kingdom and Continental Europe. After being discharged in 1946 he resided in Medicine Hat and then in Lethbridge. He married Mildred Monson in 1955. Raymond had several jobs in his lifetime. He enjoyed camping, fishing and family days over the years. Kootney Lake and Keo Lake were some of his favorite spots. He liked Chevy's and Pontiac cars.

Besides his loving wife Mildred, Raymond is survived by his sons Wes and Ron and 2 grandsons Dustin and Dakota, as well as his sister Mary Livingston. He was predeceased by his brothers John and Tom and sister Agnes Teenkamp.

A private family graveside service will be held.
