Rachel Hofer

MRS. RACHEL (MANDEL) HOFER of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Mr. Lloyd Hofer, passed away at the St. Michael's Health Centre on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at the age of 63 years.

Rachel was born on July 31, 1948 in Lethbridge to Peter and Elizabeth Mandel. She was raised in the Raley and Pincher Creek area and educated at Matthew Halton High School. She spent her married years on their farm in the Milk River area and after Lloyd's passing she relocated to Lethbridge. Rachel had a great gift of entertaining family and friends all through her lifetime; and it's true to share that her heart was as big as the ocean! May each of you cherish her memory!

She leaves behind her siblings David (Carol) Mandel of Abbotsford, BC, Marcus (Dianne) Mandel of Lethbridge, and Anna (Mike) Gross of Brooks and their families.

Everyone is welcome to attend the Graveside Service held at 2:00pm on Friday, March 2, 2012 at the Mountain View Cemetery, 1210 Scenic Dr. South, Lethbridge, with Pastor Glen Hobden of the Rosemary Mennonite Church officiating.
