Pierre Bourque

Mr. Pierre Bourque of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Mrs. Linda Djinovic, passed away at Chinook Regional Hospital, on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at the age of 68 years.

Pierre was born in Montreal, Quebec on September 13th, 1955, where he grew up. He started work at Pratt & Whitney at an early age, where he met the love of his life, Linda Djinovic. They married in Delson in May of 1989 and a few years later had their daughter. Pierre and his family moved to Lethbridge, Alberta in December 2006 where he continued to work for Pratt and Whitney as a Facility Manager, eventually retiring at the age of 61.

He had many hobbies; golfing, building computers, home automation, and woodworking. He spent a lot of his time working in his garage, building things for the family.

Pierre loved to golf. He started caddying for his father, then took up the sport himself. He loved the challenge of golfing at different courses and enjoyed teaching people how to perfect their golf games.

Some of his most recent skills and hobbies were cooking, baking and gardening with his grandkids. When he wasn't spending time playing with his granddaughters, he would enjoy relaxing with his wife, a glass of wine, and listening to motown and classical music.

Besides his loving wife Linda, Pierre is survived by his daughter Amanda (Scott); grandchildren Kira and Hailey; sister Josee; sisters-in-law Nathalia (Paul) and Helena; brother-in-law Mike (Gina); as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families.

He was predeceased by his parents Roland and Jeannette, and brother-in-law Danny.

Pierre will be remembered privately by his family and his friends.
