Phil "Packer" Alexson

Mr. Phil “Packer” Alexon of Taber, beloved spouse of Mrs. Donelda Wood, passed away suddenly in his home on Friday, May 26, 2023, at the age of 73 years.

Phil was born September 26, 1949, in Port Arthur, Ontario. He had 3 sisters that he loved to drive crazy. He went to school in Port Arthur, and eventually became an Ironworker, which he absolutely loved. He later moved to Alberta where he had 2 daughters and a son, as well as 2 bonus daughters. He loved his children very much. Pac and Donelda settled out at the farm where he lived his best life. He will be dearly missed by everyone that knew him,   

Besides his beloved spouse Donelda, Phil is survived by his 4 daughters Melanie (Brian), Joselyn (Ross), Cheri and Josee; son Morgan; grandchildren Jessie, Travis, Cody, Gavin and Ciara; 3 sisters Faith (Jim), Linda (David), Karen (Eugene); Melanie and Joselyn’s mother Sharon; Morgan’s mother Tanis and Cheri and Josee’s mother Jo-Ann.

He was predeceased by his parents Henry and Marie and brothers-in-law David and Eugene.

A Celebration of Phil’s life will be held from 2-5pm on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at the TABER CHURCH OF CHRIST, 5303, 50th Street, Taber, Alberta. The gathering will take place outside, so please BYOB and chairs.
