Petrik Lynda

February 1, 1961- October 14, 2008

It is with deep sadness we inform you of the sudden passing of Lynda on Tuesday October 14, 2008. While our grief is great, our appreciation of her many qualities and the positive influence she had on the lives she touched was equally as great.

Lynda was born in Three Hills, Alberta on February 1, 1961. She is lovingly remembered by her son Thomas Herman, daughter Elizabeth (Aaron) Piquette, step-daughters Jennifer Halladay (Marc & grand-daughter Katie), Jessica Petrik, father and mother Frank & Gloria Collinge, sisters Tracy Tanasiychuk (Peter), Noreen Klassen, Nancy Guntrip (Jeff), brothers Frank Collinge Jr. (Regina), Peter Collinge, and numerous additional relatives and friends.

Lynda will be remembered most for her generous spirit and hardworking attitude. Lynda was never one to sit still and she was always willing to do things for others. Her greatest pleasure came from when she was cooking and spending time with her family. She loved the beauties and wonders of nature and the joy of gardening. Lynda was a generous and devoted daughter, parent, sister and friend to many whose lives she touched. Lynda's life was strewn with everlasting beauty and goodness.

A celebration of Lynda's life will be held at 3:30pm on Monday, October 20, 2008 the FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH, 1614-5 Avenue S, Lethbridge, with Dr. Bruce Martin officiating.
