Peter Klok

With deep sorrow we announce the sudden passing of our husband, father, son, uncle and brother PETER NELIS KLOK of Picture Butte, beloved husband of Patricia Klok on February 15, 2008 at the age of 49 years.

Peter was born on February 11, 1959 in Nijkerk, the Netherlands. He immigrated in 1981 to Canada and settled in the Picture Butte area and resided there until his passing. He married Patricia on December 16, 1987.

Besides his loving wife Patricia, Peter is survived by his daughters Gerita (Chris) Joosse, Erica (John Mans), Henriette, Petra, Angelique and Michelle; sons Manfred, Henry and Daniel; his mother Rikje Klok; sisters Jannie, Corrie (Rien) Janse and Evelien (Bert) Vermeer; brothers Jan (Lia) and Henk (Gerda); father in-law and mother-in-law Hendrikus and Gerritje Vandenberg; sisters-in-law Brenda (Peter) Van Schothorst, Geraldine (Leendert) Van Esch, Evelyn (Jan) Klok and Petula; brothers-in-law Henk (Gerdien), Rex (Marilyn), Elbert (Leah), Tony (Christine) and Gerald (Amanda); as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families.

Peter was predeceased by his father Hermanus Klok in 2006.

An opportunity for condolences will be held between 7:00pm and 8:30PM on Wednesday, February 20, 2008 in the basement of the NETHERLANDS REFORMED CONGREGATION OF PICTURE BUTTE, 601 - 3a Street South.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30AM on Thursday, February 21, 2008 at the NETHERLANDS REFORMED CONGREGATION OF PICTURE BUTTE, with Reverend C. Sonnevelt officiating. Interment to follow in the Picture Butte Memorial Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined.
