The Official Obituary of

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Peter James Guest on Sunday, December 1, 2013 at Chinook Regional Hospital in Lethbridge, Alberta at the age of 72 years. Left to greatly miss Peter is his common law partner of 3 years, Darlene Dahl, her son Seth and grandson Wyatt. He will be lovingly remembered by his children Debbie (Pierre), Tim (Matthew), and Tracey (Cory); grandchildren Kira, Hayley, Brady, and Tyler; great granddaughter Lexy; sister Jill (Melvin) Hill, and brother Edward (Dorothy) Guest; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many, many new and long term friends. He was predeceased by his mother Debbie and father Ivor. His happiest times were spent out in the wilderness hunting, fishing, and many years at the Wapiti Gardens with family and friends where memories were made that can never be forgotten or replaced. Peter's journey here with us is over, but won't ever be forgotten by those he left behind. He is now with the others that went before him, to watch over us as he always did when he was here. On Wednesday, December 11, 2013, Peter's Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the Church of Christ, 8321 Mission Heights Drive, Grande Prairie, Alberta; refreshments to follow. Bear Creek Funeral Home, 10920-84 Avenue, Grande Prairie, Alberta, www.bearcreekfuneral.com will be taking care of arrangements for the service. For friends from Lethbridge and area unable to attend, Darlene is planning a Celebration of Life Gathering in Peter's honour on Sunday, December 15, 2013 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at the Lethbridge Moose Lodge #792, 1401-5 Avenue N, Lethbridge, Alberta.
