Theodore “Theo” Pecht

1946 ~ 2017

Mr. Theodore “Theo” Pecht of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Mrs. Bev Pecht, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at the age of 71 years.

Always the life of the party.

The man loved a good time;

Dancing, drinking, golfing,

Working out, swimming,

Biking, sports, nuf said.

His smile.

He was hard, analytical, soft, although he rather not show it.

He loved giving a good lecture.

Dad was a good provider. His family was given many great experiences, he always sought opportunities to teach us life lessons and to NOT touch the damn fire.

Dad was a proud man, loved firefighting, loved his heritage and loved, loved, loved, sports.

He easily talked to people, people we had no idea who they were. He would sing and then laugh, sing some more, knowing full well he did not know the words, which of course made us laugh even harder.

Dad was wise and confident and made his children believe there was nothing we could not accomplish.

He loved his Yuma family

Dad was transparent, wore his emotions on his sleeve and we always knew what was on his mind.

His grandchildren were deeply loved, worried about and he stepped in when help was dearly needed.

Wherever he is, he is driving that diesel truck watching hockey and saying, ""No decision is a bad decision"".

He will be lovingly missed by his beloved wife, Bev, of 50 years; daughter Suzanne and her children Julian and Sydney; daughter, Theresa (Dean) and their children Wyatt and Jaylon; son, Jason (Janay) and their children Maya and Griffin; sisters Cobi (Bill) and Thea (Louie); brother, Frits; and good friends Leith & Ted.

At Dads request, there will be no Funeral Service. A Memorial Service will be held from 2:00pm - 6:00pm, Friday, October 20, 2017 at the ROYAL CANADIAN LEGION, 324 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB., T1J 3L7.

Cremation entrusted to Martin Brothers Funeral Chapels.
