It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our dear mom and grandma, PATRICIA MONCRIEFF, beloved wife of the late Floyd Moncrieff, on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at the age of 74 years.
Pat was born on April 13, 1937 to Fred and Louise Miller. She was known for her love of her family, homemade bread and cinnamon buns, and wonderful meals, which she so lovingly prepared for family, friends and anyone in need. In addition to being a wonderful wife, mother and grandma, Pat is remembered for her love of music - always singing songs to her children and grandbabies. She was a natural on the piano and her home was always filled with love, good food, music and lots of laughter.
Although Pat battled health issues most of her life, she faced each day with faith and courage and never lost her sense of humor. She was a shining example of love and strength and in turn will be forever loved and missed by all who knew her.
Pat is survived by her son Floyd (Barb) Moncrieff, daughters Judy (Lou) Lavorato, Robin (Randy) Feininger, Lenora (Kevin) Pasolli, daughter-in-law Diane Moncrieff; grandsons David Lavorato, Joey (Kadi) Lavorato, and Noah Moncrieff; granddaughters Cayley (Brett) Moncrieff, Taylor and Dallas Feininger, Jamee Pasolli, Allison Moncrieff, Logan and Dana Shephard and great grandson Cole Lavorato. She is also survived by her many brothers and sisters-in-law and numerous nieces, nephews and their families.
Pat was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Floyd Moncrieff, as well as her brothers Lorne, Archie, Cyril and Lloyd Miller and sisters Betty Miller, Jean Plante and Rebecca Raven.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, April 20, 2011, at the DOMINION GATEWAY CHURCH, 450 31Street North, Lethbridge.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, Suite 400, 740 4th Avenue South, Lethbridge, AB T1J 0N9, or to a charity of your choice.
