Pat Prandovich

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of PAT PRANDOVICH of Shaughnessy, Alberta. Pat passed away after a very short illness at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Monday, December 28, 2009 at the age of 76 years.

Pat is lovingly remembered by her husband Alexander, her sister Juana Carpio and all her nieces, nephews and relatives all in the Philippines. She was born November 10, 1933 in Zamboanguita, Negros Oriental, Philippines. Pat is predeceased by her parents Regina and Gregorio Elnar, her sisters; Nicolasa Elnar and Hilaria Tampioc and a nephew; Restituto Tampioc.

She came to Canada in 1982 and married Alexander on December 18, 1982. She loved to cook and opened her house to her friends and relatives. She is survived by her relatives Alvin and Claudia Grohs and family of Lethbridge, Alex and Nada Giles of Medicine Hat and a special friend and co-teacher (Philippines) of Lethbridge, Remy Arndt.

The family would like to thank all the doctors and nursing staff at both the Chinook Regional Hospital and at St. Michael's Palliative and Therapy Units, as well as Home Care for all their compassionate care given to Pat.

Vigil Rites (Prayers) will be held at 7:00 pm on Friday, January 1, 2010 at MARTIN BROS. RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 4th Street South, Lethbridge.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Saturday, January 2, 2010 at OUR LADY OF THE ASSUMPTION ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2405 12 Avenue South, Lethbridge, with Father Raul Hernandez celebrant.

Interment at Mountain View Cemetery, Lethbridge, Alberta.
