Mrs. Olga Novak of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Mr. Lovro Novak, passed away peacefully on Sunday November 14, 2021 having just celebrated her 97th birthday.
Olga was born in Podgrad,Slovenia on September 28, 1924 and emigrated to Canada in 1955. She was an avid gardener, baker and enjoyed her grandchildren and their exploits.
Olga is survived by her children John (Tina) Peter (Terresa) Frank (Jeanne); grandchildren Jason (Brittany), Travis (Shannon), Brittany (Jessy), Adam (Krista), Lucas (Cara),and Thomas; and great grandson, Landon. Olga is also survived by her cousin Milka Dodic and her children Rajko and Alenka.
She was predeceased by her parents; two brothers and two sisters.
The family would like to thank the staff on 4C at the Lethbridge Regional and the entire Palliative Care team at St Michaels Health Centre. A special thanks to the staff at Martha’s House- especially Judy, who adopted our mother during the 5 years she lived there.
A private family Prayer Service will be held at Martin Brothers Riverview Chapel.
A private family Funeral Mass will be held at St Martha Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
