Nicholas Strazza

NICHOLAS STRAZZA of Coaldale, beloved husband of Anne Strazza, passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness on Sunday, December 7, 2008 at the age of 90 years.

Nick was born in Montreal, Canada on December 14, 1918. He lived near Wood Mountain, SK until joining the Army during WWII. After being discharged he moved to Lethbridge where he met Anne and together they lived in Coaldale until his passing. Nick was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, as well as the Loyal order of the Moose and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Nick enjoyed many hours of volunteer time with these organizations to aid with community efforts. He will be lovingly remembered and missed.

Besides his beloved wife Anne, Nick is survived by his son Delnor; grandchildren Jeffrey Strazza and Christina (Messenger); sisters Annie Hill and Mary Milke; brothers John, Mike and Danny; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects between 5:00 pm and 9:00 pm on Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at MARTIN BROS. RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 - 4 Street South, Lethbridge.
