Neville Waterfield

MR. NEVILLE (DICK) WATERFIELD passed away in the Calgary Foothills Hospital on Saturday, October 31, 2009, at the age of 83 years.

Dick is survived by his son Craig (Marilyn), Merle (Stacy), Bruce and daughter Velvet; grandchildren Shaun (Corinne), Kimberly, Chad, Teresa, Danielle, Amanda, Ashley and Anthony; great-grandchildren Olivia, Shyloe and Shaye; sisters Ida, Audry and one brother Don.

Besides his loving wife Marie (1991), Dick was predeceased by his parents John T. and Lily, three brothers, and three sisters.

Dick was born to John Thomas and Evelyn Waterfield in Diamond City on June 9, 1926. After a short while the family moved to a farm in Retlaw where he attended school. Throughout his life Dick joined the army in 1944, worked at Ellison Mills, heavy duty mechanic at CP Transport, truck driver for Lillydale, then retired to Raymond, when he met and married Marie Gerun. Dick loved his chihuahuas, gardening and just being at home. He had very faithful neighbors Merna and Gary who were always there for him.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at 11:00AM, on Friday, November 6, 2009, at the MARTIN BROS. RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 - 4 St., S., Lethbridge, AB.

A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00PM, on Friday, November 6, 2009, at the MARTIN BROS. RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 - 4 St., S., Lethbridge, AB. Interment will follow in the Raymond Temple Hill Cemetery.
