JUSTINE NEUFELD of Picture Butte passed away suddenly on Monday, January 21, 2008 at the age of 90 years.

Justina was born in Saskatchewan and moved to Alberta in 1956 and has resided in Picture Butte for the last 20 years. In her spare time she knitted a lot and was a member of the United Church in Picture Butte.

Justina is survived by her children Agnes (Curt) Schmidt of Coalhurst, Eva (Roger) Vanhill of High Level, Klaas (Karen) Giesbrecht of Port Alberni, BC, Abe (Karen) Giesbrecht of Kamloops, BC and Peter (Karen) Giesbrecht of Port Alberni, BC; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and four sisters; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families.

Justina was predeceased by her first husband Abe Giesbrecht and second husband Jake Nuefeld; parents Annie and Klaas Peters; two sons and one daughter.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, January 26, 2008 at the PICTURE BUTTE UNITED CHURCH, with Reverend Glenda Wert, officiating, Interment to follow in the Iron Springs Cemetery.
