Joseph “Joey” Peter Jaworski of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Mrs. Barbara “Barb” Monds, passed away at Chinook Regional Hospital on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at the age of 84 years.
Joey was born in Crooked River, Saskatchewan, on November 8, 1941, to Mabel and Jacob Jaworski. Joey liked watching sports and was often found spending his leisure time at the Bully’s casino. He loved cats, which he had many of in his lifetime, and above all, he loved spending time with his grandson Dre.
Joey is survived by his best friend and partner of 38 years, Barb Monds. He is also survived by his son Douglas, grandson Dre, sister Bernice (Rick Walker), and multiple nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Joey is predeceased by his parents, Jacob and Mabel, and siblings Douglas, Jimmy, and Janet.
He will be dearly missed and remembered fondly by all who knew him.
