Monica Trace

MRS. MONICA TRACE of Foremost, beloved wife of Mr. Art Trace passed away at the Foothills Hospital on November 15, 2010 at the age of 74 years.

Besides taking a very active part in operating the family farm until retirement about 10 years ago, Monica had many other ventures which she enjoyed; she held ceramic classes at home for several years in the 70's, travelling in the motor home and prospecting for gold, spending time at a sapphire mine in Montana, China painting and recently oil painting as well. She played in her family's band since 9 years old, and was the last surviving member of the OK's.

Besides her loving husband Art, Monica is survived by her daughters Julie (Gary) Stefan of Calgary, Jane Trace of New Serepta, Alberta; sister-in-law Madeline Kultgen; grandchildren Amber, Ruby, Cole, Stefan, Chay, Mitchel, Gilchrist.

Monica was predeceased by her parents Jacob and Pauline Kultgen; sister Barbara (Pilon); brothers Ernie Kultgen and Ken Kultgen.

Vigil Rites (Prayers) will be held at 7:00PM, on Sunday, November 21, 2010 at the MARTIN BROS. RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 - 4 Street South, Lethbridge, Alberta.

A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 1:00PM, on Monday, November 22, 2010 at the FOREMOST COMMUNITY CENTRE, Foremost, Alberta, with Len Mitzel and Deacon Michael Hazelwood, officiating.
