With profound sadness in our hearts, but the comfort that she is now at peace and reunited with our dad, we announce the passing of our mother Donna Moltz, on Sunday, June 23, 2019.

Mom was born on February 23, 1937 in Verwood, Saskatchewan, to the late Bill and Marjorie Wenaus. She moved to Regina, Saskatchewan in September 1956 after marrying the love of her life, Herman Moltz. She had 3 children with dad and then followed him to Lethbridge in August 1972 to begin the next chapter of her life. She worked for years at the Lethbridge College in the library and test center until her retirement. Mom’s greatest joy was her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She spent many hours at family get togethers, camping, crocheting and most recently playing the impromptu hockey games in her living room where she was star of the game.

Donna is predeceased by her parents; husband Herman; son-in-law Rheal Leger and two sisters Myrt and Hazel.

She leaves behind her children Joni (Roger) Davis, Jeri Moltz, Jeff (Jody) Moltz;  grandchildren Bobbi (Tim), Billie, Brad (Lynn), Desi (Allen) and Kaity; great grandchildren, Noah, Nikolas, Jayden, Addy and Asher; brother Mel (Loretta); sister Ev; sisters-in-law Bernie Moltz, Marg Harris, Irma Johnson and many nieces and nephews.

The family is also very grateful for the loving care mom received from her caregivers Bev, Meredith and Tarri-Jo.

A Come and Go Reception will be held from 1-4pm, on Saturday, July 13, 2019, at 2110 18 Avenue South, Lethbridge, Alberta.
