Mimilyn Santos

Our beloved Mama, Mimilyn Santos, was called home by Our God Almighty on August 4, 2024, after a 6-day battle with a brain aneurysm. Mama was surrounded by her children and family members when she passed.

Mama Mimilyn/Milyn, as we refer to her was born on March 3, 1957. Mama Mimilyn settled married life in Manila and Jaen, Nueva Ecija. Later she spends all her remaining days in Cavite and Canada with loved ones. Mimilyn was a remarkable woman, a loving wife to Lito Santos. She was a supported wife who was truly a partner in every aspect of life. 

A devoted mother to Jun-Jun, Lanie, Vane, Disay, Batchoy, Ichan, she also extends her love as their second mother to Belle, Gelyn, and Len-Len. As a mother, Mama Mimilyn was a guiding force in the lives of her children. She led by example, instilling values of kindness, integrity, and resilience. Despite life's ups and downs her bond with her loved ones remained steadfast, demonstrating the everlasting power of love and commitment. 

A cherished grandmother to Ozie, Yshyka, Lucas, Yllac, Adriel, Arvee, Carie, Lurie, Bella, and Pao. She was a cheerful great-grandmother to Chichi and Nami. Her legacy lives on in the memories we hold dear and the lessons she imparted to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Lola Mimilyn shared stories, offered guidance, and cherished the simple pleasures of life with her grandchildren. The love she gave them laid the foundation for a family tree full of compassion connected by enduring love. 

 As a friend, Nanay, Tita, Ate, Auntie Mimilyn, as she was called by those close to her. Her wisdom was a source of comfort, and her laughter filled their home with warmth and love, creating an environment that will forever be cherished in the hearts of her family and friends. 

 She will always be cherished and held close to our hearts, for eternity....

There will be a livestream available to all starting at 7:00am MST until 12:00pm on Friday, August 9, 2024.  For those who wish to come to the  visitation in person, they may come to Martin Brothers between 11:00am to 12:00 pm, on Friday, August 9, 2024, at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610, 4 STREET SOUTH, Lethbridge, Alberta.
