SHIRLEY ANN MILLER

1951 ~ 2016

Mrs. Shirley Ann Miller of Lethbridge, beloved wife of Mr. Harley Miller, passed away at the St. Michael’s Palliative Care Centre on Monday, March 7, 2016 at the age of 65 years.

Shirley was born on February 13, 1951 in High River, Alberta. Shortly thereafter; she and her family moved to Coalhurst where she was educated. After leaving high school, she was employed as a waitress until she met her husband Harley. Together they lived in various towns in southeast, southwest Alberta following employment. In 1970, their son Shane was born, followed by their daughter Joeie in 1971. With their family complete, Shirley and Harley moved back to Coalhurst in 1976 to raise their kids. When their children were grown, Shirley and Harley moved to Lethbridge and ran their family business until retirement. Shirley enjoyed going to bingo, gardening, spending time with her friends and attending Curves. Nothing made her happier than spending time with her grandchildren Kyle, Blake, Melissa, Kade and Alexis. She shared something special with each of her grandchildren.

Besides her loving husband Harley, Shirley is survived by her daughter Joeie (Shawn); son Shane (Bonnie); grandchildren Kyle, Blake, Melissa, Kade, Alexis; sister Susan Pfeiffer; brother Ken Pfeiffer as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families.

Shirley was predeceased by her parents James and Florence Pfeiffer, and her siblings Diane, Terra, Bobbie and Wayne.

A Private Family graveside service will be held at a later date.
