Mildred Kemppainen

MILDRED ""MILLIE"" TERESA KEMPPAINEN of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Henry Kemppainen, passed away on Sunday, April 15, 2007 at the age of 91 years.

Millie was born on February 26, 1916 in Burmis, AB where she was raised and educated. She married her husband Henry J. Kemppainen on March 30, 1959, in Lethbridge. Millie and Henry farmed the family farm at Barons until 1992 and then they moved to Lethbridge.

Millie is survived by her brother Thomas ""Tommy"" (Mary) Joss as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Henry in '02; mother Annie '40; father Mike '70; sisters Annie Osadan '44, Mary Janiga '73, Veronica Zur '74, Katherine Savinkoff '96; brothers Martin '64, Michael '74, John '88 and Joe '03.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects between 7:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M., on Thursday, April 19, 2007 at MARTIN BROS. RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610-4th St. S., Lethbridge, AB.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 A.M., on Friday, April 20, 2007 at ST. PATRICK'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 318-10th St. S, with Father Tim Boyle, celebrant. Interment to follow in Bowville Cemetery.

Flowers are gratefully declined. Those who wish, memorial donations may be made in Millie's memory to a charity of one's choice.
