Mildred Louise Hoover (Forbes) December 3, 1920 ~ April 11, 2014 Mrs. Mildred Louise Hoover (Forbes) passed away peacefully on April 11, 2014 in Lethbridge. Mildred is survived by her son Alan (Linda) and their children Dan (Elize) and Brad (Heather), son Reg (Lenore) and their children Jamie (Chandra) Andrea (Ken) and Greg (Val), great grandchildren Allison, Eric, Tyler and Justin, and daughter Beverly of Gabriola Island, BC. Mildred was born in Hartney, Manitoba, grew up on a farm and became a teacher, wife and mother in Ashern, Manitoba and Oyama, BC. She loved learning, reading and being independent. She loved to ride horseback and water ski. During her retirement years in Claresholm, Alberta, she travelled to many countries, played golf, curled, and played bridge. A caring person, she was an active member and supporter of the community. One of her joys was taking her grandchildren camping. Mildred was predeceased by her husband Earl in 1980. Family will gather to celebrate her life when her ashes are taken to join her husband in Souris, Manitoba. Flowers are gratefully declined.
