Mike Dutchak

MR. MICHAEL ""MIKE"" OREST DUTCHAK of Lethbridge, formerly of Yorkton, Saskatchewan, beloved husband of Loretta Dutchak, passed away on Saturday, March 24, 2007 at the age of 59 years.

Mike was born in Buchanon, Saskatchewan on March 6, 1948. He passed suddenly surrounded by his loving family and friends. In his younger years, Mike worked and traveled before returning home to Yorkton to help his parents with the family farm. He then went on to farm in other communities before settling down in Calgary where he met his wife Loretta. He and his family moved to Lethbridge where Mike's ambition and strong work ethic led to a successful business career. He enjoyed camping, riding his Harley, listening to music, astronomy, working abroad with his coworkers and most of all, spending time with his family. Mike was an earnest, easygoing man, who would help anyone if he could. He was a wonderful husband and father who will be missed by all who knew him.

Besides his loving wife Loretta, Mike is survived by his two daughters Michaela (Richard) and Monika (Ashton); his sons Arnold and William; His mother Ethel Dutchak, sisters Marcella and Phyllis, his brother Harold as well as numerous other relatives and their families. Michael was predeceased by his father William Dutchak.
