The Official Obituary of

MR. MICHAEL GEORGE ""MIKE"" WYROSTOK of Lethbridge, beloved companion of Marina Smetany, passed away on Monday, October 1, 2012 at the age of 79 years. Mike was born on May 10, 1933 in Coalhurst, the youngest of seven children. He lived in Coalhurst and Lethbridge all his life. He was active in a number of sports associations and a member in many local clubs. Mike worked at the Lethbridge Hotel, Automatic Electric, Western Canadian Hardware and the City of Lethbridge (Electric Dept.) until he retired. Besides his loving companion Marina since 1962, Mike is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Mike was predeceased by his parents George and Paraska, brothers Bill, Russell, Emil, and George, sisters Katie Nestoruk and Effie Boychuk. A special thank you to the Edith Cavell Care Centre staff and management for all their care giving to Mike. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, October 5, 2012 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 - 4 Street South, Lethbridge, with Pastor Marsha Graveland officiating. A private family service will be held at a later date. Flowers are gratefully declined.
