Michael Gorski
1924 ~ 2017
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Gorski, in the presence of his devoted companion Rita Berlando, at St. Michael’s Health Centre on April 28, 2017 at the age of 92 years.
Michael was predeceased by his wife Margaretha in 1980; son John Sr. and grandson John Jr.
Left to mourn is his granddaughter Michelle Gilling of Edmonton.
Michael was born in Poland. He was a man of many talents and determination in undertaking every task. He was an employee with Honeywell Controls (Calgary) for over 35 years. In retirement, he singled handedly built and remodeled several homes in the town of Turin, AB.
His enjoyment in life was to travel and visit his homeland in Poland, donating the care of his extended family.

A Funeral Mass will be held at ST. BASIL’S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 604 – 13 Street North, Lethbridge, Alberta at 3:00pm on Thursday, May 4, 2017, with
Father Lukas Drapal, celebrant. Interment will take place in Calgary on Friday, May 5, 2017.
