Micah Neels

For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.

On Monday, August 18, 2025, the Lord, in His infinite wisdom, has taken Micah Ben Neels from our care at the tender age of 30 days.

Micah will be missed by his parents Kelvin and Stacey Neels; his grandparents Ed & Lida Neels, and Bert & Geraldine Vanden Hoek; numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins including Jordan & Coralie Neels (Leah, Madelyn), Darren & Jane Neels (Landon, Hailey, Jaida, Everly),  Shawn & Julia Neels, Jonathan & Breanne Vanden Berg (Judah, Reuben), Marielle Neels, Lorelei Neels, Mitch & Shayna Mans (Jaxon, Konner, Madelyn), Brady Vanden Hoek (Hallie Klassen), Jordan & Sammy Van Saane, Sydney Vanden Hoek (Travis Hillaby), Aveyah and Keen Napesis. He is also survived by his great-grandparents Nellie Neels, Elizabeth Vande Bruinhorst, Marinus & Ann Vanden Hoek, and Joanne Grisnich.

Micah was predeceased by his great-grandfathers Gerard Neels, Evert Vande Bruinhorst, and Gilbert Grisnich.

Condolences will be held on Monday, August 25, 2025 from 6:30pm - 8:00pm at the NETHERLANDS REFORMED CONGREGATION OF PICTURE BUTTE, 601 3A St, Picture Butte, AB T0K 1V0.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at 10:00am at the NETHERLANDS REFORMED CONGREGATION OF PICTURE BUTTE, 601 3A St, Picture Butte, AB T0K 1V0, Rev. E.C. Adams officiating. Flowers are gratefully declined.
