Psalm 23

MR. MELVERN ""MEL"" EPP went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, August 18, 2010, at the age of 86 years, beloved husband of the late Katherine Epp.

Mel blessed many with his love for life and people, especially children. He loved his family, church and the community. Our father, grandfather, and great-grandfather will be sadly missed.

Melvern is survived by his children Ken (Mary) Epp, Pat (Henry) Siemens, Barbara (Helmut) Giesbrecht; grandchildren Jeremy (Dana) Epp, Janna (Darren) Berg, Jonathan Epp, Raechel (Wes) Pauls, Bradley (Jody) Siemens, Teresa (David) Andrews, Jennifer (Colin) Winklmeier, Welsey (Shauna) Giesbrecht; 20 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters; 1 brother; and many nieces and nephews.

Mel was predeceased by his parents Linda and Peter G. Epp as well as one brother.

The family asks that a Hypo-Allergic environment is maintained at the Memorial Service, (No perfumes/colognes and hairspray).

A Visitation will be held at 6:00PM, on Sunday, August 22, 2010, at the COALDALE MENNONITE CHURCH, 2316 - 17 Street, Coaldale.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00PM, on Monday, August 23, 2010 at the COALDALE MENNONITE CHURCH, 2316 - 17 Street, Coaldale, with Pastor Manfred Boller, officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Mennonite Central Committee, 210 - 2946, 32 Street North East, Calgary, Alberta, T1Y 6J7.
