Melissa Korsch

Ms. Melissa Rae Korsch of Lethbridge passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at the age of 55 years.

Melissa was born on October 24, 1969, to Wanda Petrie and Frank Huszar. After graduating from Kate Andrews High School, she pursued her passion for design by studying AutoCAD Drafting at Community College. She found great fulfillment in her career. Outside of work, Melissa enjoyed a variety of hobbies, including reading, pencil sketching, archery, roller skating, fishing, and camping.

She is survived by her mother, Wanda Petrie; father Frank Huszar brother Jason Huszar; Brent Ferguson; aunt Jean Plavetic and her children; aunt Lydia Novicki and her daughter; half-sister and brother Therisa and Franklin, and stepfather Clark Petrie.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm, on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610-4 STREET SOUTH, Lethbridge, Alberta with Deacon Jim Manzara, officiating.

Cremation has been entrusted to Martin Brothers Riverview Chapel.
