Iris McRae of Lethbridge, beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness on November 4, 2022, at the age of 78 years.

Iris was born on March 25. 1944 in Cardston, Alberta, to George and Hilda Lybbert. She lived in Cardston from grades 1 through 10, did her grade 11 in Lethbridge, and graduated high school in Fort Macleod. She later attended NAIT to complete her office administration. Through the years, Iris worked in hospitality, farmed, and ranched, worked at the auction and was an assistant manager at a liquor store. She loved to paint, quilt, cross stitch, garden, taking care of her house, and spend time with family. Iris was apart of the Lethbridge Artist Club, Lethbridge Quilters Guild and Magrath Prairie Stitchers.

Iris is survived by her 2 daughters Angela Berger and Laura McRae (Derek Rowe); 2 sons Steven Kilborn and Jason Kilborn; grandchildren Travis (Jodie) Berger, Bambi Willms, Jackie (Matt) Visser, Anthony Baart, Jason McRae (Lindsay Johnson) , Robert Hebert, Matthew Rowe (Kyra Peake) Curtis Row; great grandchildren Dawson, Rylin, Kaylynn, Irelynn, Aletheia, Lyncoln, Alexis, Brayden, Annabell, Sage and Brooke.

She is predeceased by her parents George and Hilda Lybbert.

A Visitation will be held at 12:00 pm, on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at MARTIN BROTHERS WATERTON SUITE, 610-4 Street South, Lethbridge, Alberta.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610-4 Street South, Lethbridge, Alberta, with Reverend Trevor Potter, officiating.
