Maureen Larson

JANUARY 18, 1940 ~ MARCH 24, 2009

MAUREEN FAY LARSON beloved wife of the late Leonard Larson, passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at the age of 69 years, after a brave struggle with pancreatic cancer.

Maureen is survived by her son James (Marjorie) Larson; daughter Janice Larson (Brent Bowyer); son Gary (Tracy) Larson; grandchildren Stephanie, Danny, Mitchell and Marit Larson; brothers Curtis (Larraine) Goughnour and Bill (Bonnie) Goughnour.

Maureen was predeceased by her loving husband Leonard in 1989, her father Marvin Goughnour in 1989, and her mother Doris Goughnour in 2008.
Maureen was born on January 18, 1940 in Lethbridge, AB and raised on a farm near Enchant, AB. She married Leonard in 1959, and they farmed and raised their family in the Enchant area. Maureen moved to Lethbridge in 1991 and worked in the field of senior care until her passing.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00pm, on Monday, March 30, 2009, at the MARTIN BROS. RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 - 4 St., S., Lethbridge, AB, with Reverend Elizabeth Brown officiating.
