HELEN (née Langemann) MASSON passed away at the Edith Cavell Care Centre on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at the age of 70 years.

Helen Masson was born October 5, 1941, to Nick and Hilda Langemann in Coaldale, Alberta, the fourth child in the family. After graduating from high school in Coaldale, she took her teaching training from the University of Alberta at Calgary. Helen returned to Lethbridge to teach elementary school. One of her great joys was working with the children. Helen loved her work, and it is unfortunate that a promising career was cut short by an illness that she had to contend with for many years. Helen and her husband Donald Masson were active in the Mennonite church community in the Lethbridge region.

Helen was predeceased by her husband Donald, and is survived by her brother Ralph Langemann, her sister Rita (Leslie) Stobbe, and her sister Sigrid and her husband, Hubert Brodeur.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at the COALDALE MENNONITE BRETHREN CHURCH, 2114 18th Street, Coaldale, Alberta, with Pastor Randy Dueck and Rudy Heidebrecht, officiating.
