LOULA

MRS. MARY LOULA (nee Koran) of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Mr. William Loula, passed away on Monday, April 14, 2008 at the age of 90 years.

Mary was born on January 30, 1918 to Joseph and Anna Koran in Bellevue, AB. She married William Loula in 1936 and had 3 children. Mary and Bill moved from the Pass to the Park Lake area in the early 50's where they farmed for a couple of years and then built their house on 6 Ave North in Lethbridge. She worked at the Hospital, Sopina's and Woolworths until retirement. After retirement she spent some time in Port Coquthan before moving back to the Pass for several years and then returning back to Lethbridge in about 1990 where she spent the remainder of her life.

Mary is survived by her son Lawrence (Sylvia), 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, sons-in-law Eric Thrun and Pat Long and sisters Anne Bugajski and Emily Fisher. Besides her beloved husband Bill, Mary was predeceased by her daughters Ruth Thrun and Clara Long, parents Joseph and Anna, brother Jerry, brothers-in-law Tony Bugajski and Jim Fisher, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, April 18, 2008 at MARTIN BROS. RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 - 4 Street South, Lethbridge, with Reverend Larry D. Hankinson officiating.
