Mary Kok

Mary Cornelia Kok, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, May 26, 2025, at the age of 85 years.

Mary was born on September 21, 1939, in Vroomshoop, the Netherlands to parents Hiske and Sjoerdtje Leffers.

She is survived by three sons and one daughter; Peter (Elizabeth) Kok of Fresno, California, Lyndon (Diny) Kok of Calgary, Alberta, Sharon (George) Veurink of Coaldale, Alberta, and Rod (Dianne) Kok of Edmonton, Alberta; grandchildren, Sydney, Hadarah, Erika, Lydia (Brandon), Emma (Owen), Laura, Gerard (Kendra), Deb (Dan), Brent (Janita), Steven (Nicole), Larissa (Cornelis), James (Meagan), David (Alison), and Rebecca; great-grandchildren, Margot, Cameron, George, Drew, Denver, Nathaniel, Lucy, Mikayla, and Savannah; brother Andy; and sister, Maggie.

Mary was predeceased by her husband, Dirk; brothers, Jake, John, George, and Klaas; and sister, Griet; grandson, Michael; and great-grandson, Damien.

A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 pm, on Monday, June 2, 2025, at the Coaldale Community Cemetery.
