Jody, our beloved mountain lover, caregiver, people person, accomplished athlete, and successful businesswoman, whose heart was forever loyal to the outdoors, has been carried away to her favourite place in nature July 27, 2026.
She lived passionately and fully, embracing every adventure with courage and joy. Above all, she was a deeply devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. Her kindness, strength, and generous spirit touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Though she is no longer by our side, her love lives on in the hearts of her family and friends, and her spirit will forever be found among the mountains, forests, and wild places she cherished most.
Though we will miss her beyond words, we find comfort in imagining her surrounded by the majestic mountains she adored and the tranquil Caribbean shores she loved so dearly with a cold beer in hand. Her adventurous spirit, radiant smile, and boundless love will remain with us always, carried in our hearts and reflected in the beauty of the natural world she cherished.
A celebration of life will be held at a further date, and details will be announced by the family when finalized.
