Mary Hamilton

Mrs. Mary Hamilton of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Mr. Mel Hamilton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at the age of 93 years.
Mary is survived by her youngest brother Ernie Kresnyak (Pam) of Cornwall, UK; her daughters Darcy, Glenna and Kathy; as well as 3 grandchildren Brett Borix (Kayla), Alyssa Borix (Scott) and Jesse Peever.
Mary immigrated to Canada as a young child with her family from a small town in Czechoslovakia. As a young adult, she worked for several years at the Ritz Café in Lethbridge, where she eventually met Mel. She was also a lifetime member of the Rebecca Lodge (I.O.O.F) and of the congregation at St. Augustine’s Anglican Church.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, March 23, 2018 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610-4th Street South, Lethbridge, AB with Reverend Steve Bateman, officiating.
