Mary Erais

MARY ERAIS of Edmonton, beloved wife of the late Mr. Peter Erais, passed away after a long illness with Alzheimer on Tuesday, January 23, 2007, at the age of 80 years.

After farming in the Iron Springs area for many years, Mary retired to Lethbridge. Following Peter's death she moved to Edmonton to be closer to her family.

Mary is survived by her daughters Rose (Ken) Vincent and Margaret Collier; grandchildren Ray (Mairi) Collier, Debra (Cary) Maxwell, Clint (Shannon) Collier, Karen (Kelly) Higo and Sarah (Mike) Joly; great-grandchildren Brady, Rylee, Kyra, William and Blake; sisters Teresa Nemecek and Anne Danyluk; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Besides her beloved husband Peter, Mary was predeceased by her sisters Kay Trimble and Destiny Hazlek.

Vigil Rites (Prayers) will be held at 7:00PM on Friday, January 26, 2007 at MARTIN BROS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 - 4 St. South, Lethbridge, AB, with prayers led by Sharon Hagel.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30AM on Saturday, January 27, 2007 at ST. BASIL'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 604 - 13 St. North, Lethbridge, AB, with Father Wilbert Chin Jon, officiating. Interment following in Mountain View Cemetery.
