Mary Doerksen

MARY DOERKSEN of Coaldale went to her heavenly home on July 5, 2007. She was born July 17, 1927 in Russia. She immigrated to Canada as a young child with her parents, Bernhard and Elizabeth Doerksen. Mary was a sickly child and spent most of her adult life in a wheelchair.

Mary was predeceased by her parents and one infant brother. Leaving to mourn her passing are her sisters Elizabeth, Margaret (Ben) Reimer, Ann (Harold) Kasper, Helen (George) Penner, Katherine (John) Willms, Esther (Abe) Hiebert; brothers Ben (Agnes), Henry (Kay), David (Carolyn) and Art (Eleanor); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects between 7:00PM and 8:00PM on Monday, July 9, 2007 at the COALDALE MENNONITE BRETHREN CHURCH, 2114 - 18 Street, Coaldale.

A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00AM on Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at the COALDALE CEMETERY, Mennonite Section.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at the COALDALE MENNONITE BRETHREN CHURCH, with Pastor Rudy Heidebrecht, officiating.
