Mr. Marvin Peter Thom of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Mrs. Barbara Thom, passed away at Chinook Regional Hospital on Monday, October 9, 2023, at the age of 82 years.
Marv was born in Lethbridge on March 9, 1941, to parents George and Leona Thom.
My darling Marv, how we will miss you. Just short of 64 years you decide to take a break. You always played hard and worked very hard. No one could come close to you. Teaching the fellows the proper way to butcher. Also teaching boxing at times and refereeing. You loved gardening, fishing and camping. Later, you went back to work driving crew bus for Hallcon and CPR for 15 years. And then the sickness came.
Marv leaves behind his wife Barbara; sons Curtis (Bev), Randy (Marcy), Derek (Terri); daughter Cheryl (Joe); brother Terry; sister Doreen; 7 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his son Stacy.
Marv with be remembered privately by his family and his friends.
