Marion Mokosch

Marion Mokosch of Lethbridge, beloved wife of Gerald Morton passed away after succumbing to cancer on Saturday, May 30, 2009, at age 68 years.

Besides her loving husband Gerald, Marion is survived by her stepchildren Julie Morton, and Nicholas Morton; beloved grandson Ryan; mother Doris; brothers Ken (Marg), David (Sylvia); as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families.

Marion was predeceased by her older brother Tom, older sister Bette, and her father William.

Marion was born on March 17, 1941, in Smokey Lake. After high school, Marion went on to complete her nursing degree, and it was at that time, that she moved to Lethbridge (in 1964) and became a large part of the community through Alberta Mental Health, and the Lethbridge Regional Hospital.

Vigil Rites (prayers) will be held at 7:00pm, on Friday, June 5, 2009 at OUR LADY OF THE ASSUMPTION CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2405 12 Ave., S., Lethbridge, Alberta.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30am, on Saturday, June 6, 2009 at OUR LADY OF THE ASSUMPTION CATHOLIC CHURCH, with Father Tim Boyle celebrant. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
