Marie Popson

MRS. MARIE EVELYN POPSON (nee Anderson) of Lethbridge, beloved wife of Michael Joseph Popson, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 8, 2008 at the age of 87 years.

Marie was a professional musician, the Anderson Sisters Orchestra. She was an avid archer for 32 years and a charter member of the Lethbridge Archery Club.

Besides her loving husband Michael of 60 years, Marie is survived by her children Robert (Marylyn) Popson of Yellowknife, Nora (Lee) Speelman of Lethbridge and Larry Popson (Janice) of Raymond; grandchildren Jenny (Jason) Chinn, Cindy (Nolan) Aldred, Rhoda Popson and Mikhaila Popson; great-grandchildren Elexia Popson and Riley Chinn; sisters Alice (George) Hummel and Ruth Ginzer; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families.

Marie was predeceased by her parents Ida and Martin Anderson and sister Florence McIntosh.

At Marie's request there will be no service.
