Marian Smith

Passed away peacefully in Lethbridge Regional Hospital with her family at her side, MRS. MARIAN FRANCES SMITH, at the age of 85 years, beloved wife of the late Mr. George William Smith of Lethbridge.

Marian was born in the county of Phillips in the Village of Sun Prairie in the State of Montana, USA on March 9, 1922. She grew up and attended school on the farm in Simmie, Saskatchewan area until moving to Lethbridge in 1949. Marion worked at the Galt Hospital and Regional Hospital for many years and later at Duncan Industries and The Rug and Drapery Shop. She resided in Lethbridge until her passing.

Marian was a member of the Order of Easter Star Laurel Chapter No. 43 and Royal Purple of Canada No. 32.

Marian is survived by her sons Errol (Rhonda) Smith of Lethbridge and Ron Smith of Parksville, B.C.; daughter Joanne Duda of Lethbridge; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren: Kevin Smith and his children Madeline and Clairie, Melissa (Cory) Craig and their children Rlyan and Lindsay: Lance (Tracy) Smith all of Lethbridge; Shane (Kayla) Smith and their son Kane, Lindsey Smith all of Gull Lake, SK, Justin Smith of Red Deer: Shannon Duda (Jade Coslovi) and their children Katelyn (O'Sullivan) and Sara-Dawn (Coslovi); Jason (Raila) Duda and their son Coen, Robin Duda all of Lethbridge; brother Charles Faulk of Picture Butte; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Marian was predeceased by her parents Thurman and Kathryn Faulk; brothers: Jim, Monroe, Kryl, Paul and sister Jean Shearer.

At Mrs. Smith's request, there will be no service.
