Mrs. Maria Assunta Lavorato of Lethbridge passed away peacefully on Monday, November 20th, 2017 at the age of 89 years. Maria was born in Piane Crati, Italy on August 12th, 1928.
Maria is survived by her son, Joe (Lorna) Lavorato; her daughter, Barbara (Doug) Saunders and her son, Peter (Laurie) Lavorato, as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Maria was predeceased by her loving husband, Alfonso Lavorato.
A Funeral Mass Service will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, November 24th, 2017 at ST. BASIL'S ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 604 - 13th Street North Lethbridge, Alberta with Father Kevin Tumback celebrating. A Private Family Interment will follow the service at Mountain View Cemetery.
