On Wednesday, September 10, 2008, the Lord called unto Himself Margaret (Rita) Voth at the age of 77 years.

Rita is survived by her son Jake (Eileen) Voth of Coaldale. She was a loving Oma to Amanda and Darryl Visser (Micah and Josiah), Lynnette, Raylene and Blayne. She is also survived by one brother Bernhard Sudermann of Germany, as well as many close cousins.

Rita was predeceased by her beloved husband of 58 years Jacob Voth, her parents William and Margaretta Sudermann and two brothers Gerhard and Peter.

Rita was born on January 3, 1931 in Kudaschewka, Ukraine. Her father was taken by the NKVD and never heard from again. Her mother and two brothers died in the final bombing of Berlin. Their son Jacob (Jakey) was born on August 13, 1951. Rita spent most of her time cooking, baking, sewing and taking care of her family.
