Margaret Tracy

MRS. MARGARET TRACY passed away on Friday, January 12, 2007 at the Lethbridge Extendicare.

Margaret was born in Taber, AB on April 14, 1912. She then moved with her parents David and Louise Grabautzki to their homestead near Foremost. Mom continued to farm, first with her parents, then her first husband John Kurtzweg and later with her second husband Karl Tracy. Margarets grandsons still farm there. The highlight of her life was to visit the farm and to receive any news from Foremost. Upon moving to Extendicare she spent many enjoyable hours knitting.

Margaret is survived by her daughter Lois (Cyril) Hoult; daughter-in-law Ruby Kurtzweg; eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents, both her husbands, two sons Vincent and David; sisters Alma and Betty and her best friend Birdy Hinch.

Margaret Tracy's family would especially like to Thank everyone at Extendicare for the wonderful care she received there.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 P.M., on Friday, January 19, 2007, at LUTHERAN CHURCH OF THE GOOD SHEPHERD, 2406-11 Ave. S., Lethbridge, with Pastor Kevin Powell, officiating. Interment to follow in Mountain View Cemetery.
