Margaret Stickel 1921 ~ 2014 Margaret Stickel passed away at Chinook Regional Hospital on June 24, 2014 at the age of 93. Margaret was born in Podolsk, Russia on May 15, 1921, the second of 13 children. The family immigrated to Canada in 1924, settling first in Saskatchewan and then in the Readymade area of Alberta. Margaret is survived by a daughter Audrey (John) Blaylock, a son Ron; three brothers Rudy (Marlene), Weldon (Virginia), Arnold (Charm); three sisters Helen Wiebe, Tina (George) Van Rijn, and Loretta Kaminski. She was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Adam Stickel in 2005, her father John, mother Maria, four brothers Peter, John, George, Herman, and two sisters, Mary Friesen and Hilda Wiens.
